Prices, food and lodging

Our Basic camp rate of $795 covers classes, seminars, jams, special activities, dance, instructor one-on-ones, dormitory lodging, three daily meals plus snacks.

Optional extra costs are:

  • Bedding: Most campers bring their own bedding, but if you'd like to rent it (including sheets, pillowcases, blankets and towels), you can do so for an additional $5.00 (for the week).

Optional discounts are:

  • Commuting discount: if you stay offsite, we discount your tuition by $50.

  • Camping discount: if you camp in a tent or RV and there are 2-4 persons at your campsite, we discount your tuition by $30 per person.  If you’re camping by yourself, sorry, there’s no discount.

  • Companions: If you'll be accompanying a camper, but won't attend classes, instructor one-on-ones, jams and seminars, you can attend at our Companion rate of $425, which includes meals, on-site lodging and admission to all concerts, dance, etc.. See more about being a companion here.

Lodging Type Camper Companion

Dormitory lodging

$795 $425
Commuting $745 $375
Camping, one person per site $795 $425
Camping, 2-4 persons per site $765 $395

Scholarships: Sorry, we don't offer scholarships currently.  We hope to be able to sometime in the future.

Camp lodging: Generally, all lodging at the camp is dormitory-style.  The camp has a variety of different chalets and log buildings, and as camp time approaches, we’ll contact you to match your preferences to what we have available, on a first-registered, first-served basis – a good reason to get your registration in early.

Camping: There’s limited tent and RV camping available; the campsite is beautiful.  Again, it's available on a first-registered, first-served basis.  There's electricity at seven of the eight sites; if you need water at your site, bring 150' of hose with a Y adapter.
