Where You'll
Be |
|
The Colorado Roots
Music Camp is held at the
Rocky
Mountain Mennonite Camp on Pikes Peak Massif.
Surrounded by spruce, fir and aspen trees in the clear
cool air 9,620 feet above sea level, it's the perfect
setting for music made from wooden instruments and human
voices. |

|
Classes will be
taught in several locations around the main
camp, including the chapel (above right).
Large groups and meetings will be held in the
beautiful new dining hall (right). |
 |
|
The
camp features dormitory-style lodging in
a variety of chalets and log buildings.
The Edelweiss, Pleiades and Tall Timbers
buildings are pictured below. |

A short walk away are
stunning rock formations and some of the best hiking
trails in the Pikes Peak region, including
The Crags and the trail up the western side of Pikes
Peak.

|
 |
The
Crags trail is a very popular hike in
Teller County, which features many of
this characteristic rock formation. It's
a three-mile one-way hike to a
spectacular view overlooking Ute Pass
and the surrounding mountain ranges.
